photo (14)Front Range Christian Church (FRCC) is holding weekly gatherings for those interested in helping on Launch Day and beyond, and you’re invited! Gatherings will be held every Sunday evening at 6:00 pm and will continue until Launch Day on February 9, 2014. Launch Team Gatherings are for anyone and everyone who thinks they might be interested in the future of this new faith community. You don’t have to be positive that you’re going to be part of FRCC in the future to attend these meetings. You don’t even have to be a follower of Jesus. These meetings are for anyone who has any amount of interest in FRCC. We encourage you to bring your family and friends and spread the word! For those of you who live in other areas of the country, we want you with us also! All Launch Team meetings will be broadcast live on Lead Pastor Ernest Smith’s blog and the recording will be posted on his YouTube page.

These weekly gatherings are happening for four main reasons:

  1. Community: People from all across the nation have already joined the FRCC team. As people are coming from many stages and walks of life we want to spend plenty of time hanging out, eating food, watching football, and having a good time! The more time we spend simply hanging out and getting to know each other, the stronger our team will be!
  2. Strategy: We’re going to spend time discussing the best strategies for serving and sharing Jesus with the people of Castle Rock. Each person has unique ideas and perspectives no one else can provide, and we need everyone’s input to develop an effective plan for sharing Jesus with the city!
  3. Roles and Responsibilities: Each person involved in launching FRCC has unique giftings, passions and skillsets. Launching the church is going to take all of us using those talents, abilities and interests together! One purpose of these gatherings is to help you identify those gifts so we can support you in the role where you can make the greatest impact!
  4. Seeking God’s Presence: We can make great progress accomplishing our other goals in these meetings, but if we don’t spend time seeking God, that progress is in vain. These meetings will provide an opportunity for us to worship, pray, and seek God’s presence together.
